We only employ the very best fitters: time-served professionals tested to our exacting standards.
If you are a commercial client, or already have your own carpet or flooring, we may be able to provide a fit-only service. Our master fitters have a minimum of 10 years' flooring experience and install to a very high standard.
The standard prices below apply where carpet and flooring are supplied by Cavendish deVere. Our material margin helps subsidise the fitting service. Customer-supplied materials are therefore charged at our higher fit-only rates, normally from £16.50 per square metre for standard carpet fitting, and are subject to higher minimum charges. We do not provide an installation warranty on customer-supplied materials.

Minimum charges
Our standard minimum fitting charge is £250 excluding VAT. Fit-only projects using customer-supplied materials have a minimum charge of £300 excluding VAT. Where work is better priced by time, the applicable half-day or full-day rate will apply.
The prices listed below are for weekday fitting during normal working hours between 8am and 6pm. Saturdays are charged at 1.5x the weekday rate. Sundays, Bank Holidays and work between 6pm and midnight are charged at 2x the weekday rate. Please contact us for night-work pricing.
All fitting prices are guide prices and each project is priced on its merits. Premium, delicate, unusually heavy or difficult-to-handle carpets may cost more to install than standard domestic carpet.
Our carpet fitting prices
Our carpet fitting prices are competitive but we are not the cheapest carpet fitters in London. We are trained professional carpet and flooring fitters, we take our time to ensure we do a great job and we pride ourselves on our outstanding workmanship.
Fitting warranties
All our carpets and floors carry a manufacturer's warranty but at Cavendish deVere we are so confident in our service that we offer a twelve month 'no quibble' installation warranty on supply and fit. * So, if something goes awry, just call us and we will come back and fix it. As far as we know, we are the only company in the United Kingdom offering this warranty at this time.
* As long as you meet the payment terms and the flooring is supplied by Cavendish deVere. We do not offer installation warranties on any flooring you supply yourself.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the project. A 50% deposit is required in all circumstances paid by Credit or Debit Card and the balance will automatically be collected upon completion. In certain circumstances we will accept 100% up front BACS payment.
Please note that these are guide prices to give you an idea of what your project might cost. Every project is different, sometimes we may need extra resources for very heavy carpets or large carpets that need to be carried up several flights of stairs or rooms with a lot of furniture and this will affect the price of fitting per m2 or the room clearance price for example.

Customer-supplied materials are installed at the customer's risk. We cannot accept responsibility for material defects, incorrect quantities, dimensional instability, shading, manufacturing faults or suitability for the intended location.

Templating includes attending the property, producing accurate templates, returning them to the workshop, positioning them on the carpet, cutting and labelling the individual pieces ready for whipping or sewing. Whipping, binding, borders and other sewing work are charged separately.

Carpet measurement service
We offer a measurement only service where will visit you at your property and our carpet estimator will measure your rooms. You will be provided with a professional pdf containing the sizes and cuts of carpet you need to order should you decide to purchase your carpet form a 3rd party supplier. We'll can also tell you how much it will cost to fit if requested. Cost just £89.99 inc VAT.
